Everything else worked fine, but it took a bit of fiddling to get the phone back into place, only to have to pull it back out to use the phone and then fiddle with putting it back in place. I saw this product on display in the car. went to the dealer and thought it was pretty cool, but they wanted it for $50 and figured the Revain should be able to beat that price. $30 for a two pack seemed like a decent deal to me, so I decided to give it a try. This has got to be the best mount I've ever used! No drilling holes The included double-sided tape keeps the base perfectly on the dashboard. The base has a small footprint, so finding a bare spot on the dashboard isn't difficult. The base is designed to flex slightly, allowing you to mount it on slightly curved surfaces. There is a very thin metal plate that needs to be attached to the back of the phone, but it will fit under your regular phone case. The phone attaches to the base with powerful rare earth magnets, with just enough "suction" to keep the phone in place, even with a typical phone case installed. If you use an extra thick/heavy armored hull, you may need to attach a thin metal plate to the outside of the hull.
