The Edelbrock products that I have purchased in the past have always been of the highest craftsmanship and quality. Not this one! 1. The product description states that the camshaft is accessible without lowering the oil pan, which is incorrect. The oil pan side gaskets and timing case cover gaskets must be locked, so the oil pan must be lowered to gain access and ensure a proper seal. The supplied front seal (without the rear one) has a locking tab, which in turn indicates the need to lower the oil pan.2. The included Timing Tab Indicator makes contact with the cover, which prevents it from being mounted without bending and thereby becoming inaccurate. That's actually a good thing since the tab is useless! Timestamps are placed on the wrong side and turned upside down.
