I bought this to use as a base layer for highway cycling in cold weather. I have previously purchased one of Tesla's thermocompression shirt and it has worked great for this purpose. I bought this to try as a cheaper alternative and it works very well. ADVANTAGES: * Excellent thermal insulation. It blocks a lot of wind and keeps the warm layer close to the skin. In fact, it insulates so well that I can't wear it if the temperature goes above 45 degrees Fahrenheit or I get too hot * The fit is good. I'm 5ft 10", 159lbs, long torso or short arms, and the medium fits me perfectly and the compression feels just right. * Price. Almost ten dollars is a lot. The cut is a little below the bust but that's all I have to complain about. Maybe the style is a bit boring, but it's a base layer, so who cares?
