Worked with Speed Queen washers and dryers in my apartment building. Be careful when turning the lever in the electronics box to start the unit. With older washing machines it seems possible to turn it the wrong way (reverse) and damage the timing mechanism or at least move the lever in the opposite direction causing the coin compartment to not work as it no longer activates the drawer movement. The building called the mechanic or the owner of the washing machine or whatever but I was able to discreetly fix it just before they came so it was fun. They literally came in when I was testing repairs with quarters. They said, "Hmm, that must have been the switch." LOLOL! Yes man. "It was a switch, okay." XD Finally, I told the property manager that I have the key - full disclosure - because he's a good guy and hates the bad owners of this place. At first he was a bit worried, but then he immediately got angry with the owners of the building for not giving HIM the key. Apparently he's been throwing coins in those washing machines for 22 years. I showed him the link to the key, he bought it, and now he's shaken off the yoke of the apartment-coin-laundry-price gouging. If you have a speed queen in your building or need to get into the control box of one of them, this wrench is a good choice. This will NOT open the coin validator. It doesn't let you collect money from the car - that's not what I bought it for. The piggy bank is just a separate padlock and can be any padlock that fits the holes so there is no universal key for it. However, it allows you to get into the electronics and mechanics, which of course allows you to turn the lever to start the cycle. Final warning: All of the machines in my apartment building are from different years, so the button/lever activated by the coin box can be very different. It takes a few seconds to determine how the coins activate that particular unit. Much luck.
