Good: Very bright Bad: I was only able to find a place to mount it on my machine - no installation flexibility. Most of the time it shines straight down, but it's about 2 inches from the sewing area. I wish I could move it, even tilt it, but it wouldn't. Another downside: liability. All instructions followed, cleaned the place to put it lasted two days - the glue holds perfectly on the machine, that's the light sheet that has come off the sticky pad. In addition, the cable holders fell off the machine during the day, so now the cord comes out with my sewing method. Overall I would not recommend them. It's a nice bright light!
