So far I've only used this silicone mat for rolling, but this has been a great addition. Oftentimes, recipe instructions will say to roll out the dough or pastry to a specific diameter or rectangle. I always looked at it or grabbed a ruler from another room (with floured hands). The mat makes it easy to measure whether the dough or cakes are rolled out correctly, and then take the dough and transfer it to the baking sheet. Cleaning is super easy - just soap and water and then we air dry it - and we've kept it rolled up for storage to keep it more compact and avoid wrinkles. We don't have a pot big enough for this silicone mat, but I'm hoping to buy a smaller product to try in the future.
