The filter part cannot be removed.
I like the big size of this one, but it's impossible to remove the lid (strainer) after shaking the drink. If anyone has tips on how to remove the lid without hitting it or spilling the contents please let me know as I threw the box away and cannot return it. At the moment it's useless to me if I can't separate the two parts. I'm so pissed! I cannot recommend it to anyone because of this lack.
