I forgot that they are a little smaller than usual but they even go well with my sports socks. This shoe is essential if you are a cross trainer or long-distance hiker. And they are so cute! In fact, my legs look smaller because my weight is more evenly distributed. like you said. "These must be shoes!" They have already been put in line twice so that strangers could ask for them. The memory foam is good and you can wash them separately. Holds up very well at 6+ miles/day. I will buy again.
