IDK, it doesn't slide on the front while driving, it slides easily - with little force or pressure - by hand so really doesn't hold up very well. on the dash but REALLY sticks to my phone and every time I pick up the phone the pad goes with the phone. However, since it doesn't move AT ALL while driving and I'm concerned that this thing will melt or stick poorly to my vinyl dashboard and cause damage, I agree that it moves when my hand applies pressure. because it's also easier to move towards me or around the dashboard until it's where I want it. I was trying to get the front where the phone attaches and was wondering if my phone case would be attracted to the sticky pad material because no matter how dirty I get it when I take the phone off it will always be the pad take it with you - interesting if a little oil or something would help - but the heat in summer temperatures and the melting of material on the car dashboard is a concern.
