Metal medicine cabinet. It is probably 1940s-50s and the paint was very thick and the cabinet has rusted through the paint in most places. I bought these after reading the reviews that they lasted much longer and worked better. I can confirm this as I had to use one of these wheels today when the Gator wheel ran out. The Gator wheel left a very thin but slightly rough layer of rust/paint and after riding it a few times it just wouldn't come off. I moved to another section I didn't work on when using BlackHawk wheels and what a difference! It went through layers of paint much faster and laid onto the metal without leaving a layer like Gator! I then went back to the parts Gator left behind and the BlackHawk went through them with ease in no time. I regret not starting with these discs as I made it so much faster. The only thing I noticed about them was that they made my grinder vibrate so much that I couldn't use the grinder handle. Not a big deal as I just held on to the body of the grinder and when the wheel wore out I could use the handle.
