Review on Motorcycle Bluetooth Helmet Headset Communication by Jason Burnside

Bought 2, one for me and one for my roommate when we ride together. Pairing the device with my Pixel 3 and my roommate's communicator was easy and painless. The intercom feature is great, much better than trying to yell at each other at traffic lights or hand signals. Range is great when you're riding in a group, but if someone takes a wrong turn they'll be out of range pretty quickly at 60mph. I haven't tried the feature of adding a rider back after they left the group, but our two units only needed to be paired once with a couple of single rides between both riders. Speakers sound good, not audiophile quality but I doubt it. I could appreciate significantly better speakers with wind and road noise at highway speeds. Definitely loud enough on the freeway, but to get the Google Maps navigation loud enough without being overwhelmed by the music, the volume of the music had to be turned down with the equalizer. Your mileage here may vary depending on how fast you drive (I only had trouble at speeds over 80km/h, the music was good but the navigation instructions were difficult to hear without cranking the volume all the way up), how good your helmet is It isolates road noise and maybe what music app you are using. Battery life was excellent. I can use it to commute to and from work every day (15 minutes each), have 2 or 3 fun rides after work (about 1.5 hours each) and still not go out after a week. The "Function" button (big round button) to activate Siri doesn't work with an Android device, but pressing the bottom button activates the Google Assistant on my Pixel 3. Not sure if this will work with Samsung Bixby or not. The other buttons are a bit small but easy to feel with the gloves I have. Thicker cold weather gloves may have more problems.
