So I bought specialty shoes at a department store for $20 and wore them on in 1-6 months and I got tired of shelling out money just to to go for work. These shoes felt like a good, durable option while still being stylish and lightweight. Shoes meet all the requirements, waterproof, light, with a good insole, do not slip. I thought they would last a little longer but I wanted to wait until I saw signs of these shoes falling apart. Let me get this straight, I work 40-70 hours a week both in the kitchen and as a waiter and wear them for both. I average 10,000 steps on a busy weekday and about 25,000 on a weekend evening. Last week (5 months after first use) I noticed that the sole was separating from the shoe, but not so much that my foot was exposed or noticeable when walking. Based on that, I can probably live on it for another 7 months without minor repairs (rubber glue), but honestly I think it's worth the money! I rated these 4 stars because I wish they would last longer before showing signs of wear but I wear a lot of them so it might be me. I would end up buying another pair and I would also recommend them to a friend.
