Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Powerful and Versatile: ANUIMOAR Handheld Cordless Rechargeable Portable for Unmatched Convenience by Sabrina Rodriguez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Ergonomic but impractical

This little ANUIMOAR is relatively easy to use compared to other hand held vacuums I've used, but its small capacity and unusual filter arrangement make it impractical. I'll talk more about that below. It comes with many attachments which is a plus. It can act as both a blower and a vacuum cleaner, so it can be used to inflate low-pressure inflatable boats. Some jets are designed to support the inflation function. The suction power is sufficient, but not exceptional. Its suction power is not as strong as my portable handheld with the strongest suction power. LED lighting is a feature that can be helpful, for example, when cleaning under a table with limited ambient light. However, the LED light is not very bright, and one wonders how much battery life can be sacrificed to make this light work. The Revain product detail page states that it is a 'wet and dry vacuum'; however, the instruction manual (see one of the photos attached to this review) says nothing about wet operation. I will go into more detail about this below. After fully charging the battery, I only had about 15 minutes of intermittent use before the vacuum stopped, presumably because the battery needed to be charged. I then tried emptying the dust bin and cleaning the filter to see if I could buy more cleaning time before charging the battery, but that didn't give me any extra cleaning time. However, when I first cleaned this device, I found that unlike my other portable devices, with this ANUIMOAR you can't simply throw the contents of the dust bag into the trash can. Instead, you have to pull out the HEPA filter and filter cone, while touching your fingers to all that nasty debris you just brushed off the floor. (See one of the photos accompanying this review.) The manufacturer supplies a small brush in the product box, which I assumed was intended to be used to try and dust off the filters. (This brush is not mentioned in the manual.) The brush did not work well with the HEPA filter. The manual seems to suggest using the product's blower function to blow dust out of the HEPA filter. I did this outside as there was a small cloud of dust. But even after that there were still a lot of small dust particles in the HEPA filter. I decided that the HEPA filter cannot be washed as it looks like it is made out of paper. The instructions say nothing about washing the HEPA filter. However, the Revain detail page states that this product contains a "dual-layer, washable HEPA filter," so I washed both the HEPA filter and the filter cone. Dust was still visible after washing in the HEPA filter. I let the HEPA filter dry for 24 hours before putting it back in the vacuum. The manual encourages the user to clean the HEPA filter regularly and my limited experience with this product shows that regular HEPA filter cleaning is very necessary. . I have no idea how long a HEPA filter will last with regular flushing. The manufacturer supplies a second (replaceable) HEPA filter in the product box, which I think is a confirmation that you will need a new one at some point. But what happens after that replacement filter wears out? The manual (see one of the photos attached to this review) does not give any manufacturer or retailer contact information, so it's safe to assume you're stuck with a useless vacuum cleaner, although I suppose you can still use its blower. Function. Other vacuums I'm familiar with put their HEPA filter on the OUTLET of the motor rather than the INLET like this ANUIMOAR does. The purpose of the HEPA filter is to prevent the engine from blowing microscopic dust particles into the air; hence its correct position is in EXTENSION. Engine FLOW must be filtered with washable sponge or felt filters, not with a HEPA filter. Finally, Revain's details page claims the product is a "wet and dry vacuum". There is no such claim in the instruction manual that came with my product and given the paper HEPA filter built into this product I find that claim dubious. It seems to me that this is a dry-only vacuum, useful at best for light-duty tasks like dusting a computer keyboard.
