I have a long haired cat who loves to cuddle on my lap and spread her cute fur all over my sofa and chairs. I was encouraged by the positive feedback from dog owners about the effectiveness of this broom for their furry friends. Cats and dogs, as everyone knows, are very different animals and I'm afraid my experience was very different. On my upholstery, the brush picked up the fur well, but on the upholstery, the fur stayed in a clump. chair instead of lifting it. It was slower and not as useful as roller brushes, which pick up fur on a tape. I did not use the broom on the floors. I asked a professional cleaner to check out the broom and she found it no more useful than I did.
