I really liked the colors and the consistency of the gel. It's pretty good, they aren't too flimsy, two coats might be enough, but I went for a third just to be sure. Most of the negative reviews I've seen are mostly due to user error. Gels have a learning curve! Watch some YouTube videos or read some tutorials and follow the instructions carefully. A few tips: make sure your nails are CLEAN, wash your hands, file your nails and gently use a polishing block to remove the shine from the top. Wipe with alcohol to remove oil or dust. Then wipe them again. And a third time to be sure. If the polish touches the skin, it will peel off - DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING while doing a manicure. Gather your hair in a ponytail and avoid touching your face. Before you start manicure, go to the toilet. Don't touch the phone. You are not as careful as you think you are. thin layers. SLIM. If you apply too much it won't heal properly. It's better to have thinner layers than less thick ones. Take your time. Gel nails should not be rushed. But it's worth it. Update: added photo from day 6 of manicure. Holds up incredibly well! I was on the trip 5 days out of 6 and it included lots of packing and unpacking, swimming pools, sea water, sand and running after the kids. It had minimal chips and was only lifted by a couple of fingers, which I did carelessly, touching the skin. I also received another free set of polishes after the first review! So I decided to change my manicure. Holographic glitter! And so beautiful I just can't stop looking at my nails.
