Thin skin becomes a problem with age. I'm luckier than some as my skin area is limited between the wrist bone and about 2 inches below the elbow on the top of the forearm. Although limited, it is also very visible. the exact areas I had an issue with for $27 + $7 shipping and since this was a third party service and not Revain I'm sure if a refund had been offered it would have been paid for by me . So I decided to try this shield. As you can see, I don't wear it on my elbow or arm. This allows the fabric to "wrinkle" more and is therefore thicker in areas most prone to bruising or tearing. Me, a tear, (like from my dog's claws!) and usually on my right hand, never bruises, but my left hand in permanent states of black and blue! Is this product perfect? Probably not, but it's easy to get to Worn and protected as far as it goes, my skin and old wounds seem to be disappearing.
