I go for a walk and take pictures in winter. I wanted something bigger than crew socks. I'm a 5'6" woman and they come down to my knees. They get bigger as you keep stretching them, but I don't like them protruding past the knee or folding over the top, so I'll go feel free to put it on. I wear them several times a week and love them. Not too tight but snug fitting and won't fall off even after walking for miles over rough terrain. The bottom is padded but not too heavy. Durable and good, I definitely recommend trying them out.
