My 18 year old cat weighs about 10 pounds. She developed some behavioral problems, which may have started due to the inevitable kidney problems of old age, which I know from blood tests. Unfortunately I can't live with my bed and clothes being pissed on and putting them in a closet with no windows for the sunlight and view just isn't good for them. So she gets a good sized cage while I'm away or I can't watch for other reasons. It's big enough to look out the top half of my bedroom window where her lovely ProSelect polka dot hammock sits. She loves this business. I just installed it yesterday but now this cell works for her. Aside from driving to the feeding level or down to her new litter box's basement (and exploring her new places a bit), she spent the rest of her time curled up in her hammock. I recommend that you stretch it well when setting it up. Not taught, but enough, because when your loved one is in a hammock, it's going to sag a bit, and you don't want it to appear like you've put your furry pal in a polka dot bag, do you? ;DR? Get this for any small pet that uses a cage and they'll love you for at least $10 more.
