Our parrots love these rings. They are played all the time. climb, go through the rings, try to grab the bell with its beak. For the price of these toys (which is pretty cheap) it's easy to have a few different toys on hand that can be switched out every week or two to keep them interesting. The rings are not thin and are actually quite thick. The little plastic holder/hanger at the top for hanging on the cage (and bell) seems flimsy at first (and one user said it's flimsy for cockatiels), but even after a bit of nibbling it shows no signs of wear. Maybe my two parrots aren't as heavy as cockatiels. Either way I think they will probably last a long time.
