We bought this for our 4 year old who loves to ride scooters as the next step in developing his skills. But that wasn't our first attempt. It was a small $20 22 inch board that was highly rated by Revain but turned out to be completely useless ie. She couldn't even lean into the curve! and strong enough to grow with my son for at least a few years. While the description says it can hold 220 pounds, I feel like it flexes more than I'd like at my 200 pounds, so it definitely is not for adult life size. But it's great for the little driver. A few older/bigger skaters who tried it were also very happy with it. As for flashing lights, that's just a gimmick. Ryder doesn't see her at all. , and even the viewer will hardly notice it. They exist and they work, but what's the difference, you won't get a skateboard for the light.
