This article was purchased 5 weeks ago. It is currently not working. The power light that should be on is flashing and the machine is not grinding. Have used the included troubleshooting information to no avail. I tried to contact the company via email and the email doesn't work. (yes, I double-checked the entry) I rarely give bad reviews, but that's totally unacceptable. I would absolutely avoid this product. Update 05/31/18: I have now raised my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I finally came to the company and was given a replacement paper shredder. The growth is due to the excellent customer service. As soon as I contacted them they were quick to respond with offers and eventually replaced the faulty shredder. Right now I'm cautiously optimistic and hope the previous shredder was an anomaly. Chopper works as described. Very quiet. Update 10/10/18: I really wanted to like this car but now it did the same as the first one. Shredder didn't have a hard life, but he died. I would strongly avoid this car!
