I give this product 5 stars because it looks good as well as practical compared to lousy Harley stocks. The quality of the inner plastic could be better. I expected more from Kuryakin. My right grip had excessive plastic roughness where the grip fits into the derailleur body and I had to file it down because it was causing friction. Also, the grips were well made, felt much better than standard grips, lighter. Handling, better grip and easier acceleration, especially since I bought a throttle. That extra $11 really made a noticeable difference. Installation was fairly easy and the left handle came with the required adhesive (so no separate purchase required). It should be noted that you can easily remove the standard left hand grip. without damaging or tearing it as I have seen in some videos. You can easily remove them with a screwdriver. Search for videos and you will find a way. In the same spirit, when gluing a new grip, try to only apply the glue to both ends (not much glue is needed) so you can easily remove it later if needed. definitely recommend if you can afford it. There are other grips that do the same thing, but I admire Kuryakyn products as they are absolutely worth the price.
