After I received it I unpacked it, read the instructions, set it up, turned it on and left. I live in an old 4 plex apartment building. One of my neighbors has 2 cats, a dog and a bird, my other neighbors cook with lots of spices that seem to seep through the walls and nobody ever seems to open the windows to make room for them. to breathe. I felt like I was suffocating. The air just felt polluted no matter how long my windows were open. After starting this car, the air really got lighter, if that makes sense. I really can't describe the smell that lingered after driving this car and I really didn't care because all I know is that after the smell went away I just wanted to breathe some fresh air. So glad I made this investment and a must have for those of us who live in apartments or have pets.
