Review on 🧹 Lodge Care Cleaning Brush, 10 Inch, Ivory by Chris Sharma

I bought this in 2014. It's 2021 now, so why am I writing a review about it? Well what happened in 2014 after I received this brush, I first used it with very moderate pressure on my cast iron skillet and was shocked when the head came off literally instantly. Looking further, I examined the spot where the brush had broken and discovered that the wooden handle was actually a small dowel-sized extension that was inserted into the head of the brush. This literally meant that the brush was designed in such a way that it would not hold up, as the point of greatest force was concentrated at the very thinnest and weakest point where the handle connected to the brush. I threw it away and replaced it with plastic and metal. Fast forward seven years. The bristles on this plastic and metal replacement are now out of shape after years of heavy use so I went back to buy another one. I was going through my old purchases and lo and behold I found the same crappy Lodge design and felt compelled to write something about it so others don't fall for the same disappointing product I did. I mean, after seven years, do you think Lodge could do better? But no. So I'll add my name and criticism to many others about this brush's failure. Don't buy this. if someone gives you one just throw it away
