Review on 1100W Greater Goods Kitchen Sous Vide: Ultra Quiet Precision Cooking Machine with Brushless Motor by Jeremy Lane

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple, high-quality, no hype - Easy to start cooking with Sous Vide

If you're a carnivore like me who finds it difficult to cook steaks/fish/meat to the perfect temperature in a pan, this thing will really help you improve your cooking skills. It might seem very intimidating at first, but if you watch a few YouTube videos and actually try them, you'll see that it's not that difficult. I'm new to sous vide so can't really compare the GG to other circulators but so far I'm very happy with it. Simple but high quality device. It's literally a good choice. Watch a clip of this thing and compare it to other flimsy options in this price range. Everything is pretty solid and can be adjusted to fit different size pots/containers. Believe me - when water is flowing around, a strong grip is important. Is it possible to connect it to the phone via Bluetooth and turn it on/off while sitting on the toilet in the bathroom and viewing up-to-the-minute charts of temperature readings? no But it has all the features I need and then some. Sometimes less is more and it seems like GG always has these great yet simple products on offer.

Pros
  • Quiet operation in the kitchen: not only powerful, but also quiet - thanks to the brushless motor. Some sous vide sounds like ocean liners; At Sous Vide Big Goods you only hear light waves.
