Works exactly as described. Gave 4 stars but could have been perfect with a few small adjustments. Bought a power adapter because the advert clearly says "adapter not included, it's an optional accessory": https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FHLHF65/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1USB -Cable connected to Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI CODE - USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port audio/microphone connected to audioPros:1 motherboard. Worked well with NVME and NAND m.2 SSD enclosures with read/write speeds of around +/- 500Mbps using USB 3.0 and USB Type-C.2 ports. Worked as expected with wireless keyboard and mouse (Logitech).3. The adapter charges well with or without connecting to a computer (Qi charging station, wireless headphones, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse).4. Audio and microphone worked as expected5. Good flush fit with smaller adapter (except see below) 6. The overlay was a nice touch7. Cable passage is desired. Cons: 1. I wish USB was Gen 2, not Gen 1.2. Cables could be longer, which limits the distance the grommet can be placed from the computer.3. 2.13" (2-1/8") is not a standard bore size, 2" or 2-1/4" would be preferred. for your information. used 2 1/4" and hot glued, works and looks good. Just not perfect. 4. Provide or recommend a power supply.
