Review on Bluetooth headset Plantronics Voyager Legend, black by Adam uciuk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are disadvantages, but the product is usable.

I used Voyagers for many years - the rubber transition between the halves of the headset has never (!) broken (as many people write): you just need to carefully hold the back (battery) part when removing / putting it on, and not pull "out of dope" by the microphone part ( when removed). Also used every day. Probably only not every day I was drenched in sweat, but it was like that. Therefore, I have no complaints about plastic, but here are electronic glitches and an explicit setting from the manufacturer to work no longer than the warranty period - for a headset of this class, they are very depressing! After all (in the classic version), you take, for example, a Swiss watch - not in order to change it every year due to failure, but because of their highest quality, which gives an almost lifetime guarantee, right? Real premium cars are also bought not for a warranty period, but for a long and happy ownership. However, this headset, which was previously positioned as a premium, being previously a measure of quality, reliability, class - at the present time, retaining only the appearance, has a bashful warranty of only "1 year", like any of the most g . consumer goods from the world of electronics ! It is clear that high-quality things work much longer than the declared warranty period . But, alas, this no longer applies to the new Voyagers . However, at the same time, I see that they are not going to reduce the price, but only increase it - and this is the manufacturer's exceptional impudence and disrespect to the buyer! Because of the legendary quality and reliability (FORMER), people still peck and take these headsets at clearly inflated prices, and in a year and a half they become garbage . A year or two ago, you could find a box indicating "2 years warranty", now I look - they write "for the 2022 1 year"! ))) I am ready to pay extra for quality, but when you realize that you are being sold an expensive "craft" for a year and a half, you start to think. Alas, marketers rule production, not technologists!

Pros
  • physiologically comfortable: sits well, sufficient sound volume level, good timbre transmission - you can even listen to music; the ability to use with 2 phones, protection against moisture, an in-ear sensor with all the goodies.
Cons
  • The rapid fading of characteristics over the warranty period - as a result, you throw it away. Breaks under the wheels of a car. Lost. And all because of the fact that it is significantly overpriced. They take, like, only "experts" who have pennies .
