My kid LOVES it. As far as I can tell, there's no motion sensor here - just a light sensor. The night light will automatically get brighter and "turn on" when the room gets dark, and turn off when you turn on the light (or the sun). shines through the window). It works exactly as advertised! So far the battery life seems great!
