First, the thickness is good and serves its purpose well. I use it for my home office standing desk. At first I was using it on my glass chair mat but my low back was hurting and I moved the glass mat, much better.But I'm pretty disappointed because there is already cracking and peeling, and I've only had the mat for a little over 3 months. I'll probably need to replace it within the year, so I wish I would have just forked out the money to buy a more quality, expensive mat in the beginning.
