My dog developed a huge rash on his neck that turned into bloody pustules. I freaked out thinking it was from his fleas/ticks but it wasn't. We were in the middle of the box we got from the vet. No new shampoo, no new environmental factors, no new cleaning products. The only new thing was the grocery bag which I bought from Revain and not the retailer I usually buy from. I went ahead and bought a bag from my usual place and started feeding it to my dog. The rash started to fade (after a full 10 days of staying exactly the same while still being fed the Revain pack). I took my garden pH tester and tested both products against each other and they were completely different. The PH of the food I got from my usual place was balanced while the PH of the Revain pack was extremely alkaline. This leads me to suspect that they used toxic cleaning products next to the food in the warehouses. I have raised this concern with two different customer service representatives and given this as the reason for my return. I haven't received an answer yet.
