I bought this battery for my boyfriend last year. Last night (less than a year later) it exploded. There were times when her phone would stop working, so she figured that maybe if she took the battery out and put it back in, it would start working. But when she took out the battery, she noticed that it was hot. She placed the battery on the cool ground to cool it down. When he hit the ground, he just exploded. The explosion was so powerful that she called the fire department to inspect it. There are three batteries nearby. Looks like the middle battery blew up. When it exploded, it was blown sideways, causing the other two batteries to explode as well. The blast area was at least 6 feet wide with debris. She still finds pieces in the most unexpected places, like under her sofa. Luckily she wasn't on the phone and her cat was upstairs so no one was hurt. And her floor was not damaged, and she found no damage in her house. But it could have been a lot worse. What if she was on the phone? Or if it had exploded a moment ago with the battery in her hand. Or what if she wasn't home and the fire broke out. Etc. Attention buyers!
