Difficult to say about supplements and vitamins
I have a 12 year old Shetland Sheepdog and she has severe arthritis. Unfortunately, with dogs it's hard to tell if the products are working or not given how long it takes a month for them to really start working on them. He took my dog for over a month but I didn't see any improvement. The only real improvement I've seen so far is Blue Buffalo Senior mixes that make him act like a puppy!
