Not as good as a regular vacuum, but still worth buying

A cordless vacuum is somewhere between a stick vacuum and a broom. This one fills that niche pretty well. Unlike some other cheaper ones I've seen, this one has a roller brush to pick up dirt from both carpeted and hardwood floors. The LED light is actually very good because it fully illuminates any debris that is on the ground and shows you how well it is picking up that debris. Once I opened the package and put everything together, I turned it on and found it was almost fully charged. I brought it to 100 percent and saw it on a bright indicator. I noticed a few things while using it. It takes a little getting used to at first as the motor sits on top of the sucker making it heavy. It's not super hard or anything, but it certainly takes some getting used to. Once you squeeze it, you won't notice its weight. It does its job perfectly on parquet floors and lifts just about everything. We go to the beach often and after this weekend the whole way from the garage entrance to the kitchen was covered in sand. I tried it and it really did everything. Sometimes I had to repeat a couple of times, but it all worked out anyway. I was afraid that it might just hit the rollers and that the grains of sand might just fly around the room, but no, all the grains of sand ended up in the canister. Then I tried it on a carpet. It's not that efficient here. It can pick up hair and knock light objects off the surface if it's a carpet, but there's not enough suction to really do a deep cleaning. Also, because the roller relies on air flowing through the flywheel, it simply doesn't have the power of a traditional vacuum. But for a quick, up-to-date carpet cleaning just before the company gets there, that's fine. They advertise with a duration of 30 minutes. I got a little less than that - about 22 minutes before it shut down. It comes with a mount and charger so you can charge it while it's hanging. The accessories are almost useless, as are many of these handheld vacuums. Even disassembled that you are just holding the power pack it is too bulky to make blinds and slots as shown in the photos. Use it instead of a broom, it's the best use for it and it does a pretty good job.
