Brand doesn't matter when it comes to choosing a TV mount. As far as I can tell they are almost the same quality if they are metal. Mounts are not intended to be seen, so appearance is not important. Just check the weight rating and choose the type of articulation you'd like. The rest is standardized - the size of the mounting screws and the configuration of the VESA mounting holes. I ordered this MOUNTUP to replace the non-tilting mount in our kitchen. In fact, due to the similar design, I was able to simply swap out the mounting posts on the back of the TV and leave the wall plate in place. I hated the old mount. As well as the inability to tilt, locking and unlocking the mount was very difficult due to the limited space behind the TV. This MOUNTUP solves this problem with spring loaded clamps. I can't tell you how awesome this is! The clips automatically snap and lock when inserted into the wall plate. Cell phone straps are attached to them to free them. I thought they were ugly hanging so I'll probably unplug them. The clamps can still be released very easily and without any effort. Or. I could leave them and tie the ends together as both clamps need to be pulled at the same time to remove the TV. I chose this mount because I didn't need any other articulation. I just had to tilt it a little getting my hands behind the TV to get in or adjust the viewing angle for my little one. Turning knobs allow you to adjust the tension to your liking.
