The woven stainless band is purposefully long to accommodate various wrist sizes. However, that excess is hidden when run through the clasp. But it adds to the cumbersome nature of the overall band. And the clasp, using closing pressure to set its position for sizing, was hard to release, and did not reset easily, if at all properly. While I was attracted by the stark contemporary style of the watch, the band assembly was a huge fail for me. I have no problem with the low price and its inexpensive level of manufacture. I see this as a watch I’d wear occasionally. So I’ll trade design for higher quality. But all that aside, the band’s clasp appears too frail after setting the sizing. I also sensed that the black coating process for the clasp, which scratched with I was adjusting the band, would easily scratch and probably not last in the long run. So design aside, I just wasn’t impressed overall.
