This is actually my second pair of shoes because as a genius I put my first pair of shoes in the dryer. They melted and deformed. After washing, it is better to let them air dry. I liked my first pair because they were very soft and I could put them on and take them off. However, my second pair is not as soft. They are just fine. I suspect they changed the materials for durability. The soles of my first pair came off and I noticed that the shoes turned my white socks yellow. I didn't pay much attention to it because it's completely washable without bleach. I also noticed that the shoe became less soft over time and the white bottom of the shoe looked a bit compressed like the shoe was about to fall apart. As for my second pair, I can say that they have changed the quality of the materials. Is it the best I do not know. They are good for everyday use but not for the gym! I've recently started going to the gym and these shoes get really hot and uncomfortable. On my second day at the gym, I thought my right leg was going to blister. My foot is rubbed with palms/balls; and it hurt a lot. Despite the design, the shoe lacks breathability. I can safely say that I will continue to search for the best athletic shoes. Also, my white socks faded from yellow to gray on this pair. I assume they stop using strong dyes. Note: These are brand new pure white socks. I didn't sweat while using them. My feet sweat unusually; and if I sweat in any way, it certainly doesn't stain anything. In general, they're not bad for everyday use. They are still very comfortable and fashionable. I love being able to slip these shoes on and off because I'm often in a hurry and don't have time to unlace and re-lace my shoes. I would have bought another pair but the shoes have increased in price and quality which makes me resist.
