Refurb Tivo Bolt from the Tivo Store here. The device has already been activated by Revain, so I can't activate it in my Tivo account. I called the Tivo customer service number that was displayed on the TV screen during setup. The woman replies and asks for my usual name, address, phone number and puts me on hold. After a few seconds a man appears, I told him that they help me and he said that everything is fine, now he can help. The same procedure verifies the account with name, address, phone. He stops me, only this time I hear some kind of commercial. It comes back and asks a validation question that I have to answer yes to. It asks which copy I used for this account for monthly billing. I don't remember what I used years ago, so I tell him what I usually use. Less than a minute later, I get a call from my bank's fraud department on my landline. I don't seem to have spoken to Tivo customer service again. I hang up and go to the Tivo web site and open a service ticket to resolve the issue. Got a case number and said they would get back to you within 24 hours. It was 2 days ago. heard nothing Tivo customer service does not exist.
