Pleasantly surprised! Definitely recommend.

Like many others, I have problems with shoes. I don't want to wear grandma's shoes. I'm a cheeky senior who is also a professional singer and ukulele player. I have problems with my feet and had surgery last year to remove a bone and part of my left little finger. I usually wear a size 8 from regular to slightly wide. I ordered my size. you slip; there is a rubber band. I bought these shoes because I suddenly had a "Yes!" moment. Dancers (Ballroom, Latin, Salsa) need a stable platform BUT they also need attractive shoes. So I decided to give these shoes the proverbial swirl. I wore them to a singing concert last Thursday where I stood and danced a bit while I sang and played. I was so happy with how comfortable these shoes were, right out of the bag. By the way, we played on the marble floor. I would not recommend them for walking on the street. They have a satin finish so they are definitely slippers. You would ruin everything. But I just came to the concert in slippers and changed there. I knitted them with black dress pants, they looked amazing! I definitely recommend them. I might get another pair in a different color, although the questions people have asked about the color don't make other colors sound all that pretty. I'm color blind so I have to rely on other people's opinions about color.
