Review on Logitech G G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Wiktor Iwanski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

Let's start with the bad: 2 months before the end of the warranty period, a double click appeared. Now the positive: keeping within the framework set by the law, CITILINK and Logitech offered to return the money or exchange it for a new G603 or equivalent. Of course, for this price segment, I consider double clicks on OMRON microphones unacceptable when used for less than 2 years. Here, I suspect, is an Omron D2FC-F-7N mic with a white on, which indicates that the M5-M10-M20 mic is installed for a maximum of 20 million clicks. Loud clicks of the main ons I consider a disadvantage for myself. And vice versa, some consider “expressive” clicks to be a virtue. Excerpt from G603 description: "Easily switch between two connected devices at the push of a on". Gentlemen from Logitech, moving the toggle switch on the abdomen is inconvenient and it’s not pressing, so you fixed it in the G604 and now the on on top is really pressed and it’s convenient. (Though I don't like on the G604 that it's a 2 second hold toggle). Above all praise, the HERO sensor energy from the battery to 0, while there are no short-term disconnections when the charge is low. A huge plus is the lack of a built-in battery, I replaced the battery and went into battle, no two can be used on one AA battery. I consider the solution with attaching the lid to magnets to be successful, but if you are a fan of throwing mice because of a defeat in battle, I advise you to turn to stronger mice. In general, the mouse turned out to be successful: both for playing and for everyday work. Initially, I wanted more ons on the mouse, but the budget did not allow. But a “fortunate illness” made it possible to exchange the mouse for a new one. Warranty service did not allow to be disappointed in Logitech, so the decision was made to stop at the G604.

Pros
  • - Clic body shape. - Fast response for wireless gaming. - Energy efficient HERO sensor. - Battery operation. - Runs on two or one AA batteries. - The quality of the materials used. - Physical switch between performance modes LO - HI.
Cons
  • - Double click is like a disease. - Location of the switch between Bluetooth and radio channel. - The rocker of the wheel is pressed to the side only in one direction. - Loud clicks of the main ons. - "Overloaded" and not ergonomic software interface for the mouse.
