It's a pain to fit the toilet. After a struggle I finally managed to get it to stay but it doesn't sit flush and sticks out like a target. I think it would be better if it was a little smaller, it's very big. I noticed a slight odor when I first took it out of the packaging to hang it up, but since I fixed it on the toilet a week ago I haven't noticed any odor at all. Although it's sticking out, the water still has to run a bit because after a few flushes I notice a small amount of suds and the toilet seems to stay cleaner but odor free. It's a good idea but I'm not sure I would buy it again due to the size and uncomfortable fit.
