I am converting a fireplace and need something to remove the rust from the inner grate. A steel brush works well for this. It's not as strong as I expected but I've never used it so I don't have a frame of reference. I know the grip is comfortable, which is extremely important given the size of my project. There was only one bristle in the package that I had to remove because it was too bent to fix. The bristles of the other two brushes are perfect, but I don't have a project to try them on yet.
