I'm installing a metal baseboard around a finished house. There are places where cables or wires need to be routed through this socket. The edge strip is ideal for protecting PVC piping and air conditioning drain lines, as well as insulated refrigerant lines. If necessary, it can be easily mounted in a small radius. I used pliers to press it firmly against the metal edge. I then used a clear sealer to keep air and bugs out. Looks great and works perfectly.
