I got the deep purple color for a 4 foot black Halloween tree. It's big enough for a much larger tree, quite fluffy but not very strong (I broke the garland when I took it out of the packaging, which was a plastic bag sealed with tape). However, my 4 year old tugged and tugged the string on the garland a few times and it stood up well. I would say it's worth the $9 I paid. I'm happy, it looks cool, the kid likes it. The only thing I think you should know is that dark purple is just plain purple, there isn't any darker tinsel I've sort of thought of, but I'm totally into it. I took the photo to show the tinsel, not the tree, the tree was decorated and the baby damaged it, but I tried to show the tinsel.
