This heater is really good. The power settings are really good. It has a power setting of 750W and 1500W, so you can put out less heat if you don't want it running at the full 1500W. In addition, it has a thermostat that works on both heating levels. The thermostat turns the heater on and off depending on whether it is set to the correct temperature. The anti-tipping switch is ideal as it has a simple design. simple designs are usually the most reliable. Basically, it's just a push button switch that lets you turn the device on when it's on the bottom. If it tips over or falls off something, it won't turn on unless it's properly aligned. Heat doesn't radiate to the floor, so you can operate it without worrying about heating up the floor it's on. Plastic is a poor conductor of heat, so the case stays cool. The fan has a high flow rate so the air doesn't get dangerously hot. I think it's very well designed and I think it's a very safe heater. As far as I can tell all protections are well implemented and thanks to the high speed fan all the heat is released into the room without creating a super hot airflow. The heating element used must be sufficiently safe. I think the element itself stops drawing more current when overheated to prevent a fire, but it's also nice to see that the designers have implemented additional overheat protection as the heating elements can still draw current even when overheating are. I am very impressed with this product, it seems to be well made and I hope it will bring a lot of use. The only drawback is the noise level of the fan. It's a little louder than I'd like, but it's probably a pretty standard fan. If I were making this heater I would try to find a quieter fan with the same flow rate. As a consumer, that doesn't bother me. The reviews for this product are great and everything looks pretty reliable to me.
