Follett Destiny Library Scanner

I have tried many cheap scanners for my Library Access System. Some worked, but not very well, and some were so difficult to set up that I just gave up. Some also had a very small light that bounced around a lot, making scanning difficult. I've bought three different models of Tera scanners and they all worked and set up like a dream. The wired scanner was great and good for student self-monitoring due to the angle of the stand. This is the best wireless scanner I have ever used. It's compatible with $300 scanners we bought in our area. Because of the corner in the cradle, it's not ideal for a student checkout. My recommendation to all library managers is to get the wired version for students and this wireless version for the manager to check in and out of books and inventory. You can buy both scanners for a fraction of the cost of other scanners and they work great. By the way, we use Follett Destiny for our circulatory system.
