Due to the increase in shipping costs for USPS Priority Mail, I was looking for a way to reduce the cost. I came across these 14x6x2 boxes and the dimensions of this box are exactly the same as the 0.1 cubic foot USPS Priority Mail shipping quantity. The boxes I used were 14 x 4 x 4 and 14 x 6 x 4 and 0.2 cu ft (that's almost $1 more than 0.1 cu ft from California to the East Coast, where most of my customers are), so I was excited to find this 14 x 6 x 2 box here at Revain. The suppliers I buy boxes from do not have this size. 2 stars for the size of the box, but that's where the stars end. The cardboard used for these boxes is unfortunately quite thin. I only use ECT-32 to keep the weight down and what I ship isn't exactly brittle, but with enough force it can break. Comparing all the ECT-32 boxes I've used from a reputable box supplier, those 14x6x2 boxes seem MUCH more fragile than this one. The ridged middle layer compresses easily when I barely press against it with my thumb and forefinger. REALLY REALLY cheap quality. Unless you're shipping something that won't break at all, such as a stack of paper or fabric, look elsewhere! You have been warned! UPDATE: I tried shipping with this box anyway, and after sealing the box with tape, I was able to squeeze the edge of the box with one hand without much effort. This crate will never support a 32 lb crate placed on it. I put the remaining 24 boxes in the basket and eat it like it was lost. Downgrading my rating to 1 star out of 2 stars.
