The silicone spoon area is large, but unfortunately the handle is hollow and has a hook hole. Therefore, water and who knows what else gets into the handle and then flows out through the holes of the hook when the bait is held at the "right" angle. As a result, I can never be sure that I won't contaminate my food with what's in the handle, making these utensils pretty much useless as I'm afraid to use them. I would send it back but as the covid virus is off I don't want to go to UPS to ship it back.
