These work well and are easy to install, but I have found that the printouts are lighter than the original Brother cartridge. I had a Brother cartridge on toner save mode and it worked very well. But these new ones (others) were too light for this setting, so I just turned off the toner saver mode and everything was fine. So these cartridges are (each) (much) cheaper than Brother cartridges, but again I have to use more toner. But all things considered, it's probably cheaper to use these third-party cartridges than Brother cartridges.
