Clothes moths are almost impossible to get rid of. We bought an antique carpet and it got infected without our knowledge. Without realizing it, moths filled our house and sweater drawers! Terrible! I called the bug company but I had more knowledge than the guys who wanted to come out here and SPRAY for them. I didn't want chemicals in my house AND spraying is ineffective from what I've read online. Safer hormone tents (a good name) have done their job. However, as they say, it lures guys into a sticky trap. Females stay out of the cold (ha!) and die without laying eggs. They are eggs in sweaters that turn into larvae; The larvae eat clothes. Not moths. The larvae eat clothes. To kill moths you need to use tents (I'm on my fourth round) for a long time to make sure you caught all the males. My tents have been gone for three months then I buy new ones and repeat. I DID NOT CATCH NUTS in my last round. I will do it again anyway. During the process, you will know where the moths are more common by the number caught in each trap. Therefore I put there z. B. more under the chairs in the living room, etc. And don't save on the first purchase! It takes a lot of them to understand what the problem is. Get it right (a lot) or you won't have a plan on where to put the next stack and you could miss the room where the majority is. etc. etc. Yes, it's an investment, but it works. And a lot cheaper than 20 cashmere sweaters ruined by holes. <sigh> And cheaper than useless companies that want moth spray. And just so you know. Moths don't "just go away".
