I needed to get some of these cables for my 'new' Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. I suspect the phone isn't new enough to accept the USB-C standard (but it does have wireless charging capability), but digression, those cables work well and seem pretty solid. The ends bend well, the cord is not too stiff. The charging time is the same as the standard cable (actually, it can be faster).
